This bench is placed in memory of
CHRISTINE SMITH
who lived happily in this village for forty-three years.
Christine moved into Scar Cottage, Brook Street, on her marriage to Arthur in 1972.
Arthur died in 1998 and Christine continued to live here
until her own death in December 2015. She was very happy here, and closely involved
with village activities and the good friends she made.
She will be remembered with love and affection by her family and friends.
