I take my seat in the summer sun,
Ignoring the chores that could be done.
Butterfly wings glisten as the sun glows,
And all around the garden grows.
I'm lost in thought as time goes by,
Flowers grow and flowers die;
And loved ones too have passed away,
But memories linger every day.
